SizeUp does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything happens on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no way to see your photos.
SizeUp accesses your photo library to read file sizes, media types, creation dates, and dimensions. This data is used solely to generate the storage map and cleanup suggestions you see in the app.
All data is stored locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database. This database contains only metadata about your photos (file sizes, types, dates) — never the photos themselves. The database is used to cache scan results so the app doesn't need to re-scan your library every time you open it.
No. SizeUp has no backend server, no API, no cloud service, and no network requests. The app works entirely offline. There is nothing to send and nowhere to send it.
None. Specifically:
No. There is no data to share. SizeUp does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.
SizeUp does not track you across other apps or websites, so it does not trigger Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. There is no tracking of any kind.
When you delete SizeUp, all locally stored data (the cached scan database and your preferences) is automatically removed by iOS. Nothing remains on your device or anywhere else.
SizeUp does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new date. Given that we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
